Individual plan prices
Individual plans insure only the policyholder, unless you are a single parent in which case your children will also be covered. Prices shown are per single unit – a maximum of 15 units can be purchased.
Family plan prices
Family plans insure the policyholder, the policyholder’s spouse or partner and their child or children. Prices shown are per single unit – a maximum of 15 units can be purchased. If you are a single parent your children will be covered by the personal plan.
A 12% Insurance Premium Tax applies to Personal Accident Insurance premiums only and has been included in the prices shown above.
HM Regular Armed Forces (PAX)
To take out PAX PA cover, please visit your unit HR office to obtain a copy of the PAX joining pack. You will need to complete the Enrolment Certificate JPA PAX1 and submit this to your unit HR office. As soon as your Unit HR have countersigned and dated the form, your cover will start.
Once entered onto JPA, the PAX payments will be taken directly from your salary from the next available pay period. Cover can be changed or cancelled at any time via your Unit HR.

Ex-member of the Armed Forces (XPAX)
To take out XPAX cover please contact PAX Customer Services on 0208 662 8102. XPAX payments can be paid by monthly direct debit and cover can be changed or cancelled at any time.
Any ex-service personnel can apply for XPAX. If you are already a PAX policyholder with the Life and Critical Illness extension and apply within 10 days of date of discharge, you or any other person insured will not be required to re-declare your state of health when requesting the same level of Life cover or less. If you have not held a PAX policy or are applying 10 days after discharge you may be required to complete a health questionnaire if requesting Life insurance.
HM Volunteer Reserve Forces including MOD civil servants going on official operational deployments (RPAX)
